I do separate texts, but I do it to help the person "read" the story the way I'm saying it, the pauses are part of the story.

AuDHD and it's all one message, but it has breaks. I'll add paragraphs and use punctuation, like commas and parenthesis, to get everything out clearly the first time. (and I get very upset when someone only responds to the first sentence/point and then ignore the rest, which ends up having the answer to their question)

I never do separate texts, but mainly because the other participant(s) in the chat could write before I finish my thoughts, and then it ruins my flow. I do, however over-explain and/or put sidetracks in parentheses aaalll the time, and that feels very neurodivergent😅

AuDHD: I despise receiving twenty messages in a row for one thought. I always want my entire thought to be heard at once so the other person has all the context. I will, however, structure it with literal paragraphs or line breaks to make my idea very clear.

As an AuDHD individual. I do multiple when trying to create small talk but obviously failing but if it is an important message on a deep deep thought. I will do it in huge text message to avoid missing important info.

For me, it's more the longer, singular messages. I utterly *suck* at summarising things, and often worry about not getting my point across, so I'll overexplain in order to fill any gaps. I also only usually use one or two messages for this, because I worry that the other person might see the first message and not understand my full point

I’m sending the thoughts as I have them 😂 but if it’s a super important message where I need to be intentional about what I’m saying best believe it’s one long message that’s been copy and pasted from my notes

Nah. I'm diagnosed as autistic and, much like when I speak, not only is it a free flowing monologue, but I'm COMPELLED to do it this way. I feel the need to explain my thoughts as clearly as possible, and small word groups do not convey things clearly. In fact, I get frustrated and overwhelmed with an abundance of short texts, instead of one or two longer messages.
