resellers argue with me all the time bc “they buy clothes that are going to go to the landfill anyways” like NO actually, you buy vintage brands that someone would DEFINITELY buy from a thrift store. the clothing that they “save” from the thrift store wasn’t at risk of going to the landfill in the first place. the never resell the stained non-name brand clothes that DO go to waste

Up cyclers are legit, they take undesirable clothes and make them desirable. They use sustainable materials, and the upcharge pays for the time and energy spent altering the garment. Resellers are a cancer to society. If you’re currently a reseller, either learn how to upcycle or get a real job

I'm so sick of every kind of reseller at this point. Clothing, game consoles, computer parts, trading cards, housing (landlords, flippers). Like unless they actually put effort into making the product better, just throw them all in the dumpster.

i went to a horror con with my parents and my dad stopped at a t-shirt booth because he saw one he liked. it was like the most basic iron maiden t-shirt you could possibly see. no tour dates on the back. looked like one you could probably find at a walmart or a hot topic (honestly hot topic usually has some cool ones actually). this girl wanted $75 for it!!!! why?? because apparently it was "vintage". there was nothing on it that showed that it was vintage. no dates. no tags. nothing. it also didn't have a price tag on it so we had to ask her for the price before buying. my dad was too nice and bought it but i would've told her to shove it.

ugh and they're so aggressive and pushy at the goodwill bins. I used to love shopping at the bins but every time I go there's more and more resellers and they act like it's their god given right to be the first ones to run through any new bin that comes out . 😩 literally had a chick tell me that her and her lil reseller friends 'deserve first picks because of how much money they spend there weekly. ' like lmfaoooo get a grip . ☠️

What’s worse is the ones selling a fucking t shirt that was given out as a free promotional shirt back in the day or LITERALLY 100-150. That shit utterly blows my mind and their reasoning is that “they have to make a living too and we are all too brainwashed by fast fashion to accept what clothing should actually cost”

I’m the first to admit I’m mad cuz I hate bad retail etiquette, I literally had someone go under the bar to steal a jersey I was walking up to of my favorite sports team. It was a hipster with a mustache, I knew that shit was going on depop 😭😂 but overall it’s not bad thing
