That is literally the point of using that knot… in a multi-pitch rappel if the knot gets stuck in the rock you need to be able to pull it till it rolls off the end. Body weight isn’t nearly enough to make that happen.

I'm confused because as a raft guide we use fig 8s to literally pry rafts off of rocks with z drags because the raft can literally weigh over 1k pounds in some situations.
