yep! me too. and my doctor tried to talk me into bc several times and when she finally accepted my answer she told me she wouldn't be surprised to see me back in next year. I told her I have been off bc for over 10 years and tracked my cycle and discharge this long without an unplanned pregnancy, I can do it again. the only reason I was currently pregnant was because we were trying. told her I could also tell her my date of implantation and she said no I couldnt. but she underestimated how diligently I track. it only took us 2 months of trying. shes almost 2 now and still no unplanned pregnancy 🙌

I chose the copper iud for this reason since it’s not hormonal. I’m one of the lucky ones that after the first couple months I didn’t have any bad side affects. Hormonal ones cause me to gain weight and my emotions are all over the place

I took the depo shot and when I got off of it my hormones were so out of wack I didn’t get pregnant until three years later which is this year but the doctor kept recommending birth control to help my fertility like nah I’m good never again ik that won’t help

This. I was able to wrap the warning label around myself twice with my BC they tried to get me to take years ago for my PCOS!!! JUST the warning label not even the directions!!!

condoms are the standard here. hubs and I had one planned baby and haven't had any condom accidents. don't have to worry about where I'm at in my cycle if it's wrapped every time lmfao

I have absolutely no clue what to do because I’m so reluctant to go on hormonal birth control but condoms gave me a 13 month age gap and I CANNOT do that again even though it’s been mainly unproblematic 💀

As a mother of five, same. Even after having the paraguard. Just because it says it doesn’t have synthetic hormones doesn’t mean it doesn’t mess yours up.
