Gary definitely wasn’t feeling himself today. He just seemed a bit flat. 💔 We still stuck to our usual routine because he’s already a little out of sorts with the girls being off school. First stop was @Greggs for breakfast! ☕️🥓 Although, Gary surprised me this morning by telling me he’d already had his cereal! 😯 He managed to drop sauce down his trousers, but he wouldn’t let me help him change them. I picked my battles and decided not to upset him by pushing the issue. Sometimes it’s better to let the little things go. ❤️ We then headed down to the beach because the sea air usually works wonders for Gary. Today, he just plodded along. He kept wandering away from us and became frustrated whenever we reminded him we were walking in a different direction. 💔 We still managed a good hour on the beach before stopping at the dog wash after one of the dogs decided to roll in something truly disgusting. 🤢🤦🏻‍♀️ Today wasn’t about big smiles or busy adventures, it was about keeping Gary comfortable, sticking to familiar routines, and taking the wins where we could 🩵 #alzheimersawareness #fyp #alzheimersdisease #dementiaawareness #dementia
