@muddlethroughmummy: Who remembers jumping beans as a kid!? 🫘 If you’re looking for easy things to do with kids this Easter holidays, try making these fun little jumping beans using just tin foil and a marble. How to make them: • Wrap tin foil around a pen to make a tube (check the marble fits when choosing your pen) • Fold one end closed • Drop the marble inside • Pinch the other end closed, leaving about a marble’s worth of space • Shake it in a container so the marble shapes the foil into a tighter “bean” Place it on a flat surface and watch it wiggle and jump as the marble rolls around inside. 💡 Top tip: the metal marbles from a Screwball Scramble game work brilliantly if you have one to borrow from. ⚠️ Safety note: marbles are a choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3 and should always be used with adult supervision. Save this if you’re collecting easy Easter holiday activities for kids.
