I was honestly and quietly pondering about the fact that the state is in a constant tension with its people in a bid for power and that only a strong community can prevent that, but since times have changed the way communities are structured have too, which makes it more difficult now, but in the same day I see a video of a woman talking about a french guy from god knows how long ago who already thought about it before I was born and summarized it better than me for every first year sociology student to learn. Honestly I don't need to think, I just need to fucking READ!!!

Modern academia is too full of itself. How did ancient peoples function without all of the semantic nonsense? There’s no need to invent new terms, just look at the past. The ancient people developed their cosmology over tens of thousands of years. Modern knowledge has been created piecemeal from cherry-picked ancient wisdom, and has only been around for 500 years.
