I swapped my 🍃 for an addiction to meal prepping and self-improvement and it was the best decision I’ve made in the last year. Not an easy decision by any means but one of the most rewarding

I’ll never understand the “addictive personality” I do have an addictive personality… to actual substance not knittting and painting 😂 I hear everyone saying the same thing about being able to get addicted to anything but the true is I think I just like actual fun things to get addicted to. How am I supposed to be addicted to work in my computer 😭

I feel this about the gym. I sound crazy when I tell my friends who wanna start, that they will start to CRAVE it! pivoting your energies to the gym changes your life

Im quitting vaping currently, + am getting back into exercising, so this is perfect. While the nicotine helps for a moment to relax, it actually destroys our nerves ultimately. While exerciseing will help with stress + anxiety, even sleep. Plus, the muscle is great for anyone of any age.

I became a housewife when I was 24 and didn’t realize at the time how addictive of a personality I had until I had ALL this time on my hands and then, I wasn’t getting anything done that I need to. There were some months where I was high for every waking moment. Recently, I rediscovered my love for reading and creative writing and—for the first time in over a year, as I started my book—I didn’t think about smoking once. And I didn’t. And I’m rediscovering my joy for music. Instead of letting myself slip into that anxiety that comes when I think of what I need to get done, instead of thinking “I’ll smoke, play some games, and do it later” (it never got done), I’m almost excited to get my headphones and turn on my dance an clean playlist and after, I write. Or read. It’s still new and I’m still working at it, but I already feel happier than I ever did when I was high out of my mind and distracting myself with video games (that I would buy, play once and never touch again).
