@taylormariebarker: Last year we hosted our first annual EM TEA. This was the event that truly showed me the beauty of the faithfulness of God. Starting to host events for women that bring an aspect of community, fun, and true girlhood mixed with the presence of God, discipleship, and encouragement in a woman’s walk of faith was a huge dream of mine. I remember creating ideas for this tea party and feeling excited but overwhelmed with how to bring it to fruition. All of a sudden, one of my dearest friends reached out to me from @@GardenHausand wanted to partner with us to sponsor this event by providing beautiful China, centerpieces, and decor. Then, I was sharing this vision with @@Howe Farmsand they also partnered with me by allowing us to utilize one of their venues. We also had an anonymous donor provide the funds to supply all of the food for the tea party. And if it couldn’t get any better, one of our own girls also donated a facial giveaway for the women attending. I remember feeling like what am I supposed to do with all of these dreams inside of my heart and how will they actually become a real reality. Then, all of a sudden, one by one, God sent answers to my many prayers. This was definitely a pivotal, turning point for me and my vision for Essentially Mended. I wanted to post this throwback as an encouragement to all of you be believing in your God sized dreams. He is faithful!! This year, we are having our second annual EM Tea and I would love for you to come! It is a safe place and we have a seat at our table waiting for you. ❤️
