@genderlib: Last week in Los Angeles, we gathered around a table built on love, courage, and community. The Liberation Dinner brought together affirming families, their trans kids, advocates, and movement leaders to honor what it means to show up for trans lives. At a time when trans youth are facing escalating attacks—from courtrooms to classrooms—this night was about the families at the center, doing whatever it takes to support their kids. Families who choose affirmation, protection, and love are not only supporting their children—they are shaping culture, shifting narratives, and building a future where trans people can live with dignity and safety. Too often, that kind of courage happens in isolation. This dinner was a reminder that it doesn’t have to. Through shared stories, intentional conversation, and a meal crafted with care, we created space to listen, reflect, and hold one another. Because when love, influence, and responsibility come together, something transformative happens.
