when I was 9 my cousin made me a Badoo (a dating site) account as a prank. He used my real pictures. And in my bio he mentioned my real age and hobbies and stuff. He just thought it was funny like "haha I'm gonna find you a boyfriend" (he was like 11 at the time so he had no idea what he was getting me into). I received hundreds, if not thousands, of grotesque messages and dick pics from adult men. I didn't know the password so I couldn't delete the account and I was too embarrassed to ask my parents for help, so I just continued receiving messages until eventually my account was deactivated due to inactivity years later. To this day I still get mails from Badoo trying to get me to reactivate my account. Every time it reminds me of how depraved men are. And how many of them are out there..
