I have over 2K hours and I can say the most important thing is just playing and getting used to the game. A lot of people panic when things don’t go the right way and which basically throws the match or chase. Overtime he start to realize what to do based on how far the killer is what per the killer has who the killer is instantly based in tear radius

I play both sides and it gives so much perspective how killers and survivors move. Where they go when a gen explodes, when someone unhooks etc.

Sometimes i get hit when I'm not in their hit range aka after animation. I also get hit when the killer does a 360 motion in the animation which they are able to hit all around them

I think looping very tightly also helps a huge ton. you can utilize and greed loops more

One thing that helped me a lot is that i started playing killer and understanding the mind games if you can do it then you will understand how to win a lot of your 50/50.

Another tip I have is always have an escape plan for the worst case scenario. There is only one killer, if you don’t know where they are or what’s happening always assume they are undetectable and hold a safe position. And everytime your sticking a gen or another objective always plan out your escape path if the killer comes. I know it sounds obvious but adopting this mindset has made me SO much better

i used to play only survivor and lost so much chases, but when i started playing killer i started to understand how they traverse the map and everything so when i play survivor i can last longer in chase (same with killer i make chases very short)

I’m now about 400 hrs in and can loop decently since I did these things last summer (I learned a lot from watching streamers) 👀

you need to learn how to do unique patching. That means traveling to other loops when the killer makes a mistake such as missing swings or losing track of you. That and dodging ranged attacks by listening to sound cues and keeping an eye on killer.
