@breelenehan: Someone with body dysmorphia doesn’t see their body as it really is or as others see it. At least 1 in 50 people have experienced it… & overall, 79% of people have dealt with negative body image. So I’m sure I’m not the only one who can relate to: Not knowing what your body truly looks like, because of the intense focus on one or more “perceived flaws” in physical appearance, which can make you believe you look differently to the way others actually see you. It’s important to note that these are our own PERCEIVED flaws, which usually aren’t noticeable & appear minor to others.
