Antonio Rodriguez :
I say this with the utmost respect to studio ghibli. This movie was terrible. Horrible plot that never really got resolved, too long for no reason and just didnt really hit the mark. Thats why no one talks about it. 2/10 movie.

Rewatched this a few days ago. Animation and character design is gorgeous and brilliant but the plot is inconsistent and not very well paced compared to the other ghibli movies.

With all my heart i will recomended to read the book, Ursula Le Guin is the author. Movie mixed story and didn't show all emotional connection with characters.

this movie is so underrated, even though the plot is messy, i can rewatch it over and over, it’s beautiful and dark and kind of scary and i just love it so much

It has the worst storytelling among Studio Ghibli films, but I admit the visuals are beautiful. It’s like Zack Snyder’s movies, bad storytelling but visually stunning, so some people still like them.

This was a wasted potential. It did no justice to the books. It could've been good 🫤 but the storyline's too shallow. The books were a masterpiece.

I don't know why everyone hates this film, yes the plot is sort of lost and the ending is bitter-sweet but the art and meaning is still beautiful 7/10 for me💘

I love ghibli and i love the earthsea books and visually this movie is stunning but this movie’s story and pacing were ALL OVER THE PLACE. Do not watch this unless you are just looking for a feast of the eyes
