@recycldstardust: Replying to @Nubs Native American and indigenous culture has so many different patterns and colors that are significant to us. We see this on beadwork, regalia, clothing, pottery, and other home goods. When you see appropriation of native and indigenous culture it’s most obvious in how the cultural patterns and colors are taken and replaced by whatever is deemed aesthic. It is a form of erasure and also takes away from native artisans and designers.
