I’m super (no pun intended) excited for this movie. I’m in my 40’s and I’m not ashamed to say that I loved the first movie. I didn’t care one bit that the plot was thin or about the voice cast. We don’t play the games for their depth of plot or character. That’s why I was so confused by a lot of the hate and criticisms of the first movie. It was everything I wanted the ’93 movie to be. As a gamer and a long time Nintendo fan, this was everything I wanted from a Mario movie. I hope they’re able to do it again.
