@landlordsapp: I remember when I was coming up, my mama was making ends meet even when she didn't have it. Bills due, pressure on her back, but she still found a way to keep food on the table and a roof over our heads. As a kid you don't really understand the sacrifices a mother makes. You just know somehow things keep working out. Now I'm older and I see it different. I see the nights she probably stayed up stressing. I see the sacrifices she made so we wouldn't go without. I see the strength it took to hold everything together when life was hitting hard. That's why moments like this mean more than money. Being able to give my mama $10K ain't about the flex... it's about GRATITUDE. It's about remembering who was there when I was trying to figure life out. It's about honoring the woman who made a way when there was no way. I know I will never be able to repay you back for everything you've done for me... but this is just a small way of showing my appreciation and letting you know all those sacrifices didn't go unnoticed. The same woman who poured into me when I had nothing... now I'm in a position to pour back into her. This what success really look like to me. Being able to take care of your mama.
