As a new grad PA, I don’t recommend it if you plan on staying in Florida. The job market for both PAs and NPs isn’t great and especially for new grads. My training pay is $35/hr and one of my friends started at $25/hr. Took me 7 months to land this job. I would show up to final round interviews thinking I had a chance not realizing they didn’t know I was new and so many places absolutely don’t want to train anymore.
