For anyone with flared ribs trying to get yourself stacked up, imitate a cough and then hold that contraction of your ribs. From there you can start working on the breathing part. 😊

"belly breathing" is actualy the correct way of breathing. when you talk if you inhale trought your belly you can talk a looot longer. actualy when we were born and when we were kids this was the only way we knew how to breath.

Love this .. once I started practicing diaphragm breathing on a daily basis. I developed abs, lol and I used to make a joke. Alignment=abs 😅😂 it’s really such an easy practice to begin with! 💜

I have (I've forgotten the name and it's a stressful day, I'll forget to come back to this comment if I try to figure it out) an extended ribcage, and doing diaphragmatic breathing has not only helped tone my belly (I have abs almost for the first time in 28 years) and has also helped my rib cage not extend so far out!😁 I can flex on my hubby now!

You do not need to hyperventilate to accomplish this. You are depriving yourself of oxygen. Just breathe with your diaphragm.
