As an American, I can say this with confidence our system was designed to make us hyper-individualistic. We can barely get along with each other, so why would we ever see the world's problems as our own? I'm not saying that's right. It's actually the opposite of right. But here's the reality: real change requires collective desire and ambition and we're already exhausted defending ourselves from each other. That energy doesn't get redirected outward. It gets consumed. That's not an accident. That's the design.

People don't even have to be feet on the ground 😭 there's so many organizations needing donations! ACLU, CHIRLA, Minnesota soup kitchens, gofund mes for people helping vendors off the streets. there's SO much that can be done.
