@laurahtravel: Has Japan broken you for other countries too? Drop a 🙋♀️ in the comments — I want to know what got you first 👇 I’m not saying Japan ruined every other country for me but Japan ruined every other country for me 🇯🇵😭 Once you’ve experienced the convenience stores, the trains and the toilets there is genuinely no going back. Japan trains run on time to the minute. The konbini egg sando costs $2. The public bathrooms have heated seats and a bidet. The taxi doors open automatically. The street food is immaculate. The hotel pillows come in six options. This country just operates on a completely different level and I can never unsee it. Follow @laurahtravel for more hidden Japan spots, local food finds and tips that actually help you plan 🇯🇵 #japantravel #japantips #hiddenjapan #japanlife #japantrip

probably restaurants not opening until 5 pm and being closed on a random day, campgrounds having very little info on Google maps. roads that just dead end or closed. 100,000 people everywhere if you're in a city.

"huge selection of fresh food" then proceeds to show a selection of highly processed and preserved convenience store meals. I like japanese convenience stores too but let's not kid ourselves. everything there is highly processed.
