Sumac is SO GOOD. You absolutely need to make Sumac onions. Slice up some red onions, soak them in lemon juice and mix in sumac. Put it on salads, sandwiches, pizza, really almost anything

if you liked sumac then you MUST look into and try the dish called Musakhan where sumac really shines. It's chicken and a lot of red onions marinated in a sumac and extra virgin olive oil mixture then roasted over flat bread that will soak all the juices. (look for a good recipe dont follow my instructions)

Sumac is delicious! It’s what gives pretty much all Mediterranean food its unique flavor. By that I mean, you try to make it at home and it just doesn’t taste like the restaurant. You are missing sumac.

You should make sumac red onions! Just slice up a red onion, toss it with lemon juice, olive oil, sumac, salt and a bit of mixed parsley and then eat it on everything. So freaking delicious.

Liam, if you like sumac now, I HIGHLY suggest roasting some carrots in sumac, fennel and salt and dipping it into tzatziki. It’s a 12 out of 10.
