I have cubital tunnel syndrome. I am now at the 6 week point. I have regained movement and feeling in my ring finger, but some days my pinky finger is extra bad but it is 100% dead all the time. The way that this have to be, is that I spent two entire days and a coma on my left side and when I awoke from that coma I had no ring finger pinky finger. I now have a ring finger but no longer have a pinky finger physically yes it's there, but I can't feel it. I literally could drive an ice pick through it and feel nothing. do you think there's any hope for me? I really hate going to doctors. The cost of medical care in the United States is ridiculous. honestly, I'd rather just endure this and possibly just die but if there is some hope for me, I would love to know.

I’ve been in pain since Jan and just been to physio and the physio has told me I have cubital tunnel and tennis elbow. I’m in a lot of pain and pins and needles.

I’ve literally just been told I’ve got cubital tunnel in both arms! 🤦♀️one of the questions I had was “how would they fix it through surgery?” So thank you for this 🙏

i'm meant to be having surgery next week after years of numbness/tingling. ive managed to get the numbness in pinky & ring to mostly go away but I still feel the arm heavy and noticable daily. idk how to explain it. sometimes pain up my arm and tricep area.. still questioning if surgery is the move though 😅

Good luck getting ROM back with splinting. Elbows get restricted very fast. Not saying not to protect moved nerve but would combine gentle ROM with splinting

When my doctor moved mine he put it in muscle to protect it. Because at minimum they are cutting into fascial they have to restrict moment. I ended up having to do 3 months of pt after the 3 months of ot because I couldn't lift my arms above my head. I wish surgeons would tell you more about recovery besides it's just 4 to 6 weeks.

I had carpal tunnel release surgery on my left hand 2 years ago and the Dr wanted to do the other side as well but I opted to wait. Now I believe I have cubital tunnel. I had the choice of local or general anesthesia. I chose local and actually asked to see 🤣 he gave me an entire anatomy lesson before sewing me up. If what’s going on IS cubital tunnel and he suggests doing both together, is local anesthesia still an option or is cubital tunnel release more intense?
