Just when you thought Guyana had enough on its plate. Here's an extra serving most of us didn't ask for. I heard glowing words from the US ambassador about her country being Guyana's security and development partner. Do I blame Ameria for trying to rid itself of despicable humans nobody else wants? No, they are trying to safeguard their nation. I have to blame the people who opened our doors and whose dependency on other nations will expose us all to the consequences of these decisions. I have to blame the politicians who took taxpayer dollars and built themselves gated communities behind police stations. Whether it is from Venezuelan gangs smuggling dozens of AK47s into the country, foreign nationals being responsible for two separate terror attacks last year or the people Marco Rubio wants to be rid of... they will always be safe from harm. I was wondering recently why even with such a low conviction rate for sex offenders in Guyana, the government was fighting so hard to initially keep the planned register hidden from public view.
