Well considering the average hair growth a year is about 5-6” give or take depending on how fast or slow you grow seems about right the left over color is on the bottom and regrowth is about a year or new growth

Story time. The sun bleaches. If you spend enough time outside, your hair will lighten in color. Then during the colder months, it will darken. Making it look like you dyed your hair. Stop judging clients and assuming they are liars.

I have horrible banding because of the heavy medications I was on all last year for chronic pain. It had been almost 2 years since coloring my hair but the bands were insane 😅 thank God they didn’t affect how it lifted for the most part

My hair does this and I haven’t died it in almost ten years. Light hair picks up sun differently. I also wear it up a lot so it really gets weird in the summer.
