The kids are not allowed in mom and dads bed. Our room is our space it teaches them boundaries. If they want us to lay with either me or dad we will lay in their bed until they fall asleep but they are not allowed in our bed. I know this is extremely controversial but just because you become parents doesn’t mean you can’t have your own space. Their room is their space and we treat that with respect we don’t just barge in their room and same goes with ours.

They have to be involved in at least one sport or club year round. Obviously this can change throughout the year since most sports only last a couple of months. When old enough volunteering or working can count as well.

Job at 14. No phone till you buy it out right and have 10 months of service paid. If you want to drive, you will pay for your drivers Ed you’ll pay for your permit and your license you will pay for your car. You will have a years worth of insurance saved. He will have three oil change, saved, and enough for two new tires saved.
