Sooo, next is getting identification(s) getting into the car. Let’s say we establish enough reasonable suspicion for a detention an get a good ID which comes up clear/valid. I’d say we’d need some good probable cause to search the vehicle or take any further enforcement action. Given of course that our conversation with the subject led to no probably cause/consent. What you think?

this wouldn’t be a pretexual stop, consider tiem and distance of surveillance. In my state they are very “pro-criminal”. love the articulation but idk about circumstances

This is good articulation but you just fall off a hill with your contact. You contacted the female how? Consensual encounter? Traffic stop? I’d sure hope you’re teaching rookies to develop some additional reasonable suspicion for a detainment because without any previous articulable knowledge that subject was involved in narcotics this gets cooked in a motion
