as a plumber of 30 yrs. nope. saddles are never good. if u got the time for that then you can atleast install a shark bite valve.

as a plumber, I do not approve this. those rubber seals can go bad really fast. Maybe in a TEMPORARY solution in an emergency situation but thats it.
