Born and raised in Queens, every candy store with a fountain had this. Amazing!!! We use to have a soda guy that delivered seltzer to my house, my Mom use to make them for us using Ubet chocolate syrup!! Phenomenal

Grew up Independence Missouri. One summer when I was eight I was at the lunch counter of the hardware store. I complained about not getting out of town on a summer vacation and the guy at the counter Louie said he’d give me a vacation to Manhattan, and he made an egg cream for me and it was so delicious

I would have one every morning walking to Jr. High school from Al candy store in the 60’s in Queens NY I went to South Jersey in 71 and asked for an egg cream they looked at me like I had two heads she didn’t know what those was. She said if tell me how to make she would. I told her how to make it and I got my egg cream. I told her to taste it and she loved it. She didn’t know why she never heard of it I told it’s a NY thing.

New York new city in Rockland County I can’t remember the first time I had it. I could’ve been too three years old. Grandma made it. Mom made it aunties made it. Everybody made. It is absolutely phenomenal. Once you’ve had one. You wanna make it all the time we used to have desserts a guy come and bring herself to bottles lol Oh boy now I want one off to the store lol 🥰🥰🥰ahhh the memories 😂 I understand ✌🌹🙏

I grew up in D.C but my mom was from the BX .... as a kid White Castle and egg cream, not together, lol was the best part of going to see my grandparents in the summer
