DANA SOS when did you drop the nap for your kids when they’re 3? My 3 year old stopped napping when we dropped the paci at 2.5 but since then she’s been doing “quiet time” in her room while the baby sleeps and actually loves her time to play alone. But… when do I stop that? It’s been a solid 8 months of quiet time now and I don’t know if/when I should let her out. ALSO I’m about to have our 3rd in May lmfaoooo so I would love to keep it as long as I can to give me a break during the day

That phrase triggered the f out of me postpartum. I’m not a napper and never have been. & people wouldn’t shut the f up about me napping it made me SO mad. Like let me watch housewives damn I’m still resting lol.

This sounds absolutely lovely, but real question, when do you do dinner prep/laundry/general clean up? I feel like the only time in my day that I have to get ANYTHING done around the house is when my toddler is napping. And I only have 1! Pregnant with my 2nd and seriously at a loss for how I will keep my home in order knowing that they will not be sleeping at the same time (at first)

It takes me 30-40 min just to sleep 🤣 by that time baby wakes up or they’re making those crazy noises OR there’s too much to do in the house! Haha

Working mom here, pregnant with a toddler. I napped every Saturday and Sunday while my toddler naps. I look forward to it all week.

If I can’t nap, but I am on my second baby first is 21 months and 2nd is 1 month. And my solution is when my toddler takes his 1:15 to 3pm or so nap I meditate and if I fall asleep it means my body needed it(: some days he naps longer and some days it’s just 2 hours or so. But he also sleeps from 8pm to 8am

1000% I have been saved this second pregnancy by napping with my 2 year old for 2 hours every.single.day. Hope I can swing it to nap with the newborn

I have two (4m and 2y) when they have a nap that lines up, I sleep or rest. NO cooking or cleaning EVER! I also think it helps my toddler to not only participate in helping clean or cook, but also see the work it takes to take care of a house as he grows up.

i’m a ftm and a sahm with a 3 month old. i exclusively nurse. i was trying SO hard to use every second of nap time to clean the house and i literally exhausted myself to like a mental break 🫠 this week i have prioritized napping and im a different mom and wife 😭❤️

Dana I can’t get my 6 month old to take good naps for the life of me 😅 he will only contact nap and takes mostly crap naps. Sleeps pretty much through the night though so idk what the issue is
