I have rarely waited so patiently for more than a year for a film release. I read the book twice - once in my teens and once in adulthood - I love Greek mythology, as well as the characterization of a resilient and bold Odysseus who defies misfortune, fate and the gods themselves in order to return Ithaca to the arms of his beloved Penelope and claim what is his. I have high expectations for this film. Although its trailer doesn't reveal the poetic language of the book that many claim, I hope it honors its story and characters. Nolan never disappoints, I want him to blow my mind up. Two months pass quickly. 💁‍♀️💜🎬📖
