To be fair, there are just as many teachers who talked about Biden and Obama in class. And Bush. Point being… Politics and religion need to stay out of the classroom and they need to be teaching.

Alberta is passing a bill to keep political ideologies out of classrooms. Bill 25: An Act to Remove Politics and Ideology from Classrooms and Amend the Education Act, 2026. The proposed legislation aims to ensure classroom instruction remains "neutral, balanced, and free from personal or political bias" This is needed everywhere

I never knew any of my teachers, personal or political views. Once I went to college, you could tell their feelings politically or personally but grade school- junior high - high school not once did any of my teachers shove, their personal or political views down my throat.

my child told me there are a few teachers at her school also deciding what they can and cannot talk about when it comes to politics. some teachers wouldn't let the kids even say certain people's name . I called th principal and told him straight out that it stops or I'm seeking options on how this can be e posed and fixed publicly. he literally held a meeting the next day and stopped the teachers immediately.
