The more you baby your child the less they will learn from real life situations. Kindness today becomes a weakness tomorrow meaning the longer you extend Grace the more most people take advantage. You have to teach independence at an early age not when they graduate. The earlier they learn how to take care of themselves the better they will become at problem solving for themselves.

Exactly. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I’m 49 years old, divorced with a 7 year old son and my brother is 44 years old not married yet and no children. Our parents ALWAYS told us we didn’t need to leave home and could ALWAYS COME HOME with no strings attached. I found myself needing to return home after a terrible marriage. My brother came home to save money for a house during the pandemic. We both are college graduates, homeowners and professional members of society. Our parents were ANNND are parents. They prepared us for life yet still call their house our home. I feel the same way about my baby. I’m eternally grateful for my beautiful parents BUUUT that’s also because their parents were the exact same way. They are celebrating 50 years of marriage in two days!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼#GenerationalBlessings #GenerationalPreparation #GenerationalWealth

I’m begging my kids not to leave til they 25 just because I was really still learning til then.. we will have boundaries for each other in adulthood, you will save etc but I know I needed plenty help til 25 still to this day however before 25 is when I made most of my mistakes.
