Or, you look at the router and it shows a partially circular arrow that shows you which way the bit is spinning, then slide the router in the opposite direction. However, climb cuts give the smoothest surface, so make one final pass taking off the final 1/32 with a climb cuts give you’re not taking off enough wood for the router to grab
