He may have read it in five days, but he just read it. He didn’t permeate in it. He didn’t sit in it. He didn’t rest in it.

If Tim read the Bible like he claims he did, he wouldn’t have said multiple things that blatantly contradict it. Either that or he retained very little of what he read.

He read the Bible on the flesh, in order for anyone to understand or interpret the Bible, you have to have a connection with the Holy Spirit. You will read the same chapter and verse 20 times, and all 20 times it might minister you in different ways. That’s my understanding.

I’m in shock he said that about God... Reading the Bible each time around hits differently due to what the Lord is showing us in that specific season in our lives.

Blessed Assurance :
I’m reading the Bible all the way through and I see God in the Old Testament continually saving, forgiving the Israelites over and over and over again despite their rebellion. I see a merciful God who desires a relationship. This pattern continues into the New Testament. I’ve been a Christian for over 25 years and find new revelation each time I read the Word. He needs to read it slowly and study it. How it all comes together over thousands of years through multiple authors is truly beautiful!
