@americantravelarchives: We just watched history launch right in front of us… 🚀 Follow americantravelarchives for more hidden gems and bucket list adventures across the U.S. 📍 Kennedy Space Center – Florida At 6:35 PM on April 1st, we watched Artemis II light up the sky — and it’s one of those moments that’s hard to put into words. The ground shook, the sky turned orange, and within seconds it was just a glowing trail disappearing into space. This mission is a huge step forward — part of NASA’s plan to send humans back around the Moon and eventually to Mars. Being there in person made it feel so real… like we were witnessing the future happening right in front of us. You don’t realize how powerful a launch is until you feel it in your chest. Everyone around us just stopped, watched, and took it all in — one of those experiences we’ll never forget. ✨ Pro Tip: If you ever get the chance to watch a launch from Kennedy Space Center, do it. Arrive early, bring a camera, and just be ready for the moment. Still can’t believe we got to see this… Have you ever watched a rocket launch in person? 🚀

For a moment, strangers stood side by side, all looking up… and it felt like we were all part of the same story again.

Some of us look up and watch the stars. Only a lucky few reach out and touch them. 💙

we went on a trip to disney when I was 7. I don't really remember anything about disney but I definitely remember the day we went and watched a shuttle launch while we were down there.
