It took me too long to find a website that circled the epicanthal fold. Side by side photos of with and without it didn't help me know what I was looking for. I caught on to monolid vs creased lid fairly quickly but, still, the crease is such a very tiny difference that's hard to see; just like the epicanthal fold.

Whaaat this is crazy because I’ve once asked my dentist about this, and she told me it’s likely from kind of damage that my lower teeth have done to my upper teeth over time. Even dentists don’t know about the gene.

I’m Puerto Rican but I have shovel teeth. I didn’t realize this wasn’t the norm until I chipped my tooth and when the dentist fixed it he made the back flat/straight so it feels different than my other teeth
