@flashbackrewind1: 📼 Flashback Rewind 1984 🇺🇸 – Miami Vice 🎬🔥 💬 “I can feel it coming in the air tonight…” This scene changed television. Nighttime Miami… empty streets… neon reflecting off wet pavement… and Don Johnson as Sonny Crockett driving in silence. No dialogue, no distractions—just pure mood. As Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” slowly builds, the tension rises with it. Cut to Philip Michael Thomas as Tubbs moving through his side of the story. You feel something coming… you just don’t know when it’s going to hit. Then the drums drop—and everything shifts. The editing, the pacing, the emotion… it all lands at once. This wasn’t just a scene—it was a moment that redefined how music could be used in television. Miami Vice made style part of storytelling—fashion, music, atmosphere all working together. After this, TV didn’t feel the same. It wasn’t just watched… it was felt. 🎞️ Fun Facts 1. This scene appeared in the pilot episode “Brother’s Keeper” and helped define the show’s identity. 2. Phil Collins later guest-starred on Miami Vice because of the impact of this moment. 3. The scene is widely credited with bringing cinematic storytelling into television. #FlashbackRewind #MiamiVice #InTheAirTonight #80sTV #IconicScenes
