Definitely a budget gem but Le Corbier has a bit of a soviet Russia feel from the architecture. Le Toussuire obviously started out similar but has developed better. Saint Sorlin d’Arves retains the alpine village feel. That being said, I think le corbier has the most reliable skiing. When the weather closes in or the avalanche risk is high, more of it remains open

Le corbier felt like a small flaine. Whole resort is ski in ski out. The ski area was amazing. Loved it. I was on 10th floor of Baikkonour and although it has a 1970s feel, we loved our apartment. Each evening there is French entertainment which we loved.
