Sauce: 1/4 cup brown sugar 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce 10 cloves garlic, chopped 8 ginger cubes (dorot garden - found in frozen vegetable isle) 1 tbsp hoisin sauce 3 tbsp rice wine vinegar 2 tbsp honey 1 tbsp chili flakes Beef: • 2 1/4 lbs short rib - seasoned with salt and pepper • To an oiled skillet, sear short rib until golden (do not cook all the way through) • Add seared short rib to crockpot and add in the above sauce • Cook on low heat for six hours • Serve over rice and top with sliced green onions.
