Rejection is ok if you get feedback. But this week I got the automated workday rejection email after 8 rounds of interviews and what they considered a 6 hour take home assignment based on a current business problem they have. After all this time an email from a human would have been appreciated 🥹 instead of a templated email.

After 4 months of intensive interviewing with multiple employers I finally landed my new job. I start tomorrow morning. I’m so excited and you were so true about accepting the rejections or the letdowns putting them in your rearview mirror moving forward being persistent and heck it worked thank you.

I am the hardest working person, resilient, quick learner, have jumped through hoops in my life happily to get ahead and have been successful. However, in this current environment, I am over it and feel hopeless. Many hiring managers and interviewers are disrespectful and treat people poorly. We don’t deserve this.

I’m 44 years old and at this age, getting a rejection letter can be sad at times but I’ve come to look at it as a blessing. Maybe that job really want for you and something way better is coming your way. The lord saved me from many employers, he know what was best for me

Received two today. One was a “we’re pivoting the role to something else that wasn’t even on the original description” the other was we’ve decided to actually close this position and not move forward. Frustrating to say the least.

needed to hear this. upcoming bha graduate jumping into the job market feels impossible. i have background experience but i feel like it doesn’t compare or compete with others. i had my first interview, first round was a preliminary screening, second round was with a senior manager and partner. it’s been a week and i haven’t heard back, there’s supposedly 2 more rounds if i were to continue. back to square one😖
