@danielwalshypyw: 🚨 Price underpinning and inflation will see affordable properties rise… 🔔 while luxury properties might drop. People go from houses they want to houses they need! Those houses they need are getting more expensive to rebuild. #investor #realestateinvesting #investmentproperty #wealth
The only people that keep saying that is people that are renting hoping it’s gonna crash so they can buy i’ve had the same discussion with a lot of my friends and I kept telling them it’s never gonna crash. It’s gonna to go more up.

i lived through the early 90's recession which was really really bad, while everything crashed, house prices stayed the same for about 5 years even without the shortage we have now. They never go down.

Look at places like Vancouver and Toronto. Similar cities to Syd and Melbourne. The underpinning was a key argument of realtors, it’s now been completely broken

That’s what happens when you have bidding wars now you pay the price get rid of the bidding wars. I see houses at 1.5 million that should be at 800,000.

There was massive inflation in the seventies. House prices went down and were dirt cheap in the eighties.

Prices will drop but will eventually start going up again. Nothing ever goes down in price and stays there.

Good. My place is valued way too high. So I'm paying more in insurance and in rates. I don't care if the value goes down to $50. Then my insurance will drop and land rates 😜

Thank god. Finally some logic. Prices won’t drop a single CENT on the Gold Coast for example. Demand SMASHING Supply.
