@uvulibrary: We get it! It can be hard to locate your books on the shelves. The Fulton Library’s print books are organized according to the Library of Congress system. That means the books are organized by a series of letters and numbers that specify subject, sub-subject, author/title, and date. Each row of shelves displays a call number range at the top, and each book has a call number label on its spine. Start from the top shelf and work your way down, and when you find the right shelf, read the book spines from left to right. Need additional help? Ask a librarian!
