I used to work at a thrift store, please take as much as you want. The shelves are packed and there are thousands of clothes in the back that we need to get rid of.

all the people saying leave it for families who need it just need to spend a few hours at their local bins to realize just how much clothing is in circulation at these thrift stores and how much is added every single day. hundreds of items a DAY right in your own community. they didn’t even make a DENT in their stock.

As someone who came from a very poor background and is now living check to check, it’s not just for people who are struggling. It’s a THRIFT store. The literal definition of thrift is shopping for used, secondhand, or vintage stuff.
