I have to disagree hydrocodone has helped me with my severe pain for years rather than oxycodone and has worked perfectly , I think it’s a great idea for long term chronic pain and hate it’s planted in such a bad light it makes it hard to get and sad

I’m sorry to disagree with you . I’m a chronic pain patient for 30+years. I don’t get high off my meds, I don’t abuse them. They help me function to live a somewhat of a normal life without the chronic pain taking me down. Without my pain meds I can’t function. There is a huge difference between medical necessity and abusing. My pain is from failed spinal fusions, SLE Lupus, Arthritis of my hips and more. So for years I’ve jumped through hoops with injections that never worked, physical therapy that never made a difference. So what’s left if not medication??? Thank you for your time.

This is not always the case for those living with chronic pain. Not all chronic pain can be solved with an operation. Treating chronic pain gives some their life back.
