Pregnancy symptoms can be so hard and two things can be true at once… you can have a hard pregnancy or bad symptoms and still be so thankful and grateful to be having a baby! I don’t understand the hate behind sharing the struggles it can come with.

Re that DM: Just because someone wanted to get pregnant doesn’t mean they can’t have struggles. Pregnancy was the hardest thing I’ve ever gone through mentally and physically (I had HG) and I was at a rock bottom I didn’t know existed and it’s ok to feel that way even though I planned and wanted to get pregnant. No matter how hard it is or easy it is someone falls pregnant, we’re allowed to have valid emotions and struggles 😭

I went through infertility treatments to get pregnant and was successful after multiple rounds and it’s so hard to deal with the guilt of not fully enjoying pregnancy. It’s so freaking hard mentally and physically. I’m so grateful but the struggle is still so real

I struggled with heartburn so bad I almost felt like the only way I could sleep at night was sitting upright in bed, laying down was awful!!! What helped me was elevating my head with a few pillows
