um actually, the research that we reference for brain development ran out of funding. so it stopped at 25. we don't actually know when it stops

Is this a new thing? I’m Gen X and almost everyone I know who went to college uses their degree (which I changed three times and graduated in 4 years and still use 30 years later BTW).

Get a trade in high school, which is often free through the school, get into the workforce and take a few years to decide what they’d like to pursue…Then go to college if you want. Now you have income already, you have life experience behind you…

I have a degree but I can not afford to work in my field bc cost of living increases beyond the pay rates of that field. I could not afford both student loans and taking care of my family.

The can always start working ima field they like and if that company offers tuition reimbursement they can take advantage of that on top of FAFSA not being tied to parents income

I waited to get loans, etc., until I was like 24 was the age because I could not get approved and I had to save my money. But at 24 the price of college did not go down and I still have to pay those loans back.

I agree. I know very few people who actually knew at 18 or younger what they wanted to do for the rest of their life and did it. It usually ends up being a giant waste of time and money. At 18 most young adults are just figuring out who they are, let alone what they want to do forever.
