Elder Gen Z spicy waitress here and Gen Z in general are just far less sex positive in general in my personal opinion. I have seen both a shift in men and women on what their perception of defines freaky behaviour. They are much more tame, shall I say. And I think that is because of the normalisation of radicalfeminism within feminist discourse and obviously misogyny.

one of the things that people always fight about is of trans women belong in women's bathroom. like if that bothers you you could just meet in the middle and make a third option of bathrooms for trans people. just like we have bathrooms that are unisex which means men and women can use them so why not trans people. because let's be honest here most of the perpetrators are MEN.

Also as a border Millennial/GenZ person I feel like there was an emphasis on sex positivity/choice feminism during the time as a reaction to the blatant slot shaming of the 00s. Like they don’t remember how bad being accused of being promiscuous was. It used to be a literal witch hunt with girls like Britney Spears and Anna Nicole Smith who were tormented by paparazzi and EVERY political party. It was genuinely crazy seeing the double standard of people mad about Snooki hooking up than any of the guys on the jersey shore who were doing the same thing!

I hate the new trend of women having to be very conservative and Puritan that Gen Z is doing because that’s exactly what the patriarchy wants. They want women to be virgins with no dating experience. They don’t want women to have casual sex because women who have casual sex don’t do free labor for men. God forbid I, as a woman, use a man for my sexual desires, and nothing else. Because that “sets feminism back” somehow? It makes no sense but people my age are falling for it
