reminds me a discussion I had about dialect. he told me that Tunisian has the prononciation the most similar to standard. honestly i laughed as an eastern Algerian I have some similarities with Tunisian so I knew the letter he will prononce differently than standard Arabic: I asked him to prononce the name of a famous pastry in both Algeria and Tunisia (cousin of the maalul): مقروض. he pronounced as expected maqroudh. I told him and I even get a Morrocan who was born and study in morroco until after graduation. the day later he told me he doesn't believed us.....
