Just wait until you’re a grand parent one day!! I can’t even explain the love I feel for my grand babies! I didn’t think I could possibly love any human as much as my own child, but when those grand babies came along, it’s next level. 🥰

I think we can be prepared for parenthood, but only by our own selves. Doing the therapy, healing your trauma, learning how to regulate your nervous system, practicing healthy & non reactive communication and getting yourself to a place where you’re willing, able and capable of providing a loving, attentive, patient, safe & healthy relationship with yourself first (and your partner if you’re doing this with a partner). That’s how you prepare for parenthood in my opinion! 💘

Cousins are the best and selfishly I want you to be an Aunt! I told my son the same thing. “You have a love for your wife, a different love for me, a different love for other family and friends but the moment you lay your eyes on your baby, THAT LOVE is the most pure, Heaven sent, innocent, deep love that you will ever feel all in one second of your life and that love you will NEVER forget!!” Totally agree with the lady that mentioned her grandbabies… ma’am you hit the nail because OH MY GOSH, I am SOOO in love with these grandbabies!!! 🥰❤️

I adopted my son at 3months old and I never thought I would get to be a mom. I didn’t sleep for the first several days because I thought it was a dream. He’s now 18 and motherhood is 100% a blessing and a curse! I cannot think of a single thing that could replace motherhood! Nothing!

i became a mom at 20y old i have had a tough life since i was 5yold everytime i am on the bench of giving up just the thought of my baby needing me makes every hardship easy, knowing that noone in this world can love him like i do gives me the biggest reason to keep fighting, he is 16y now every hug and kiss he gives me heals me in ways nothing else can!

💯💯💯💯 I always say my kiddo is the love of my life and the best thing that happened to me in front of my hubby and he gets it. Before I had my kiddo I read something that said your baby is the only boobs date you’ll ever have where it’s love at first sight - and I believe that to be true.
